i get a lot of lag in counterstrike...i have tried changing my rates and playing around with a lot, i jsut cant figure it out....

before i thought it was my internet, but i think its fine...i can play xbox360 online with zero lag, and thats on the same wireless network...

anyone know good packet MTU sizes or anything along those kind of lines that i can change that might help with the lag

Do you have the ports blocked, and do you have a firewell enabled. You should also use servers that are local to you.

If you checked both of those, then you probably need a new video card. If you could post your system specs I could check it out for you, but as far as I can tell you will probably need a new video card to play the game.
