Ok, I got a few questions here, and you guys seem pretty smart, so lets see if you can help.

Question 1:

How big should my "WINDOWS" file be? Or does it vary? Mine is 3.88GB.

Question 2:

My computor runs kinda slow most of the time, what can I do to speed it up?

Question 3:

Internet explorer will now work, I use firefox instead. However, you need to use IE to get into the www.windowsupdate.com. I think some of my problems are linked to being unable to get the updates, any ideas on how to get IE back??

Thanks alot.

Question 1
It can vary, mine is 3.63 GB

Question 2
Delete unused programs, buy another HD, RAM won't majorly speed it up, but you will be able to have more programs open at one time

Question 3
What is wrong with your IE? Can it start? Does it not go to sites?

When I try to open my IE, this happens.

A black box opens called.. "C:\WINDOWS\system32\ntzi32.exe"
and a message appears that says...
16 bit MS-DOS Subsystem
C:\WINDOWS\system32\ntzi.exe
C:\WINDOWS\system32\autoexec.nt. The system file is not suitable for running MS-DOS and Microsoft Windows applications. Close 'Close' to terminate the application.

And it gives me 2 options, Close or Ignore.

Any ideas?
