no, the pci express video cards have to be for the 16X pci express slot.

No such thing as a video card for 1X pci express..

If you have the 1x you more than likely have a 16X. Check to make shure.

it`s cause it`s a new comp.....the guy when he sold it to me said he would upgrade my motherboard for me...so i said ok...it turned out to be a integrated graphics mother board.......

i dont know much about comps and stuff
i went home and installed a few things...anti-virus, internet.....
didnt really explore the comp completely....

there`s no way of upgrading a intergrated graphics is there?

On my signature click on pcwizard2006. Download and install that.

after you installed click on the tab that says mainboard when you hover the mouse over it.

it will list the busses on the motherboard along with other items.

Look for agp bus, pci bus, or pci express bus.

click onto the pci express bus if you have it and copy all that info and paste it in the forum.

ok, you have regular pci of course. That is the slowest of all.

Do you have agp?

Use that program and find your correct motherboard model and paste it in here.

The first post you typed that motherboard isnt found in google at all..

You can only get a regular pci video card and about the fastest is the fx 5500 or the fx 5500oc 256mb. It will play games decent.
