Hello,

I have a Compaq Proliant 380 G2 server,
running Win2000 server.
The problem is thet I cannot copy & paste files.
I right click on a file and choose COPY.
When I right click in another location,
the PASTE option is invisible!!!
I still can copy files to this server,
from another one that is on the same LAN.
If I reset the server it is OK.
The problem re-exists after 2 days app. of operation.

I have an application on this server that writes data to the disk
every 15 seconds. It still works when the problem occures.

Any sugestion to fix the problem?

Best Regards,
Miki Livnat

Welcome mlivnat <_<

Do you get any program crashes like "SVCHOST.EXE terminated"?

If not, it's often MSBlaster related. Let us take a closer look at what is running on your PC. We'll need you to use a free diagnostic tool (HiJackThis) and post a log back here with the results.

Click the HijackThis Guide in my signature, download it and follow the instructions in the guide.

Most of what it lists will be harmless or even essential, DO NOT delete or modify anything yet! Someone will be along to tell you what steps to take after you post the contents of the scan results.
