When I go to install COD 2, it comes up with a messege saying "_is*.tmp" error, where the * is a number or letter. I know I can run it. The install won't even start!! Only a few people have this issue. The strange bit is a guy installing Quake 4 also had the samer issue. Any help would be appreciated

Is the error a _is3.tmp? Or is it multiple number that appear at random when trying to install? If it is a _is3.tmp error you will have to uninstall and delete the COD2 folder, then reinstall it should work then.

It is occcasionally :S tha game neve installed in the first place though. I guess Ill try a manual install
