burning a dvd from movie maker?

hi all, ive made a 15 minute movie file on windows movie maker 2.1 and i want to put it on dvd. none of the formats i can save it as will let me burn to a dvd so i have to convert the file. but im not gonna buy a converter from the net so i downloaded a few different free versions but theyll only either convert the first 5mins of my movie or convert it with watermark. over the movie. surely theres so way to convert it for free???? or even an easier way to get my movie onto dvd. any ideas will be much appreciated..
