Hello,

I have had problems with the internet for quite some time. Whenever I use Netscape, after some time, the browser window starts to get black parts and the fonts change (sometimes I get pop-ups, but just with my personal domain :tazz: ) and then the computer freezes. I was wondering what the problem could be ? I have an anti-virus program by McAfee and that Lavasoft Ad-Aware program and they do not find anything, so, can this be a virus thing or is it maybe something else...? Could it be the program I use to go online with...? I'd love to solve this problem, only, I do not know where to look. :)

Thanks in advance!

Let's try this to rule out malware. After you post a log, I'll move it to the malware forum.

Please Click here!, and follow the recommendations in the guide.

If you're still having trouble, We'll need you to use a free diagnostic tool, Hijack This. Follow the instructions in step five of this guide, and post your log as a new topic in the Hijack This forum. It will get a better response there from the people most qualified to analyze logs.

Most of what Hijack This lists lists will be harmless or even essential, DO NOT delete or modify anything yet! Someone will be along to tell you what steps to take after you post the contents of the scan results.
