how do u change a file from wma to mp3?

please can someone help...how do u change files types from wma to mp3?

Hi DaveGuyan, wuz up.

Ok there are a few programs that you can use to change the format. But theres one that I think is really really really great :) . Its called "Easy CD-DA Extractor" it can change the format of any music file to these:

HE-AAC v2, MP3, MP4, M4A, 3GP, 3G2 FLAC, Ogg

And seriously thats only a few of them, theres lots more formats you can change to, like WMA and WAV, ect.

Its a really cool program, its got other cababilities that can come into good use too.

hi,

thanks very much for the info...it works great.....my next question is though......i have wma files which wont convert because they are 'prtoected'....any ideas how to unprotect? (this is on the windows media player).
