I got a new DV Camera for christmas and i can't figure out how to get the video from the camera to the PC for editing?

What make and model of camera and do you have Firewire connection on the PC

Its a Panasonic PV-GS34 i have the connection at least i believe I do. It's a cord i use to make it into a webcam so i might be i really dont know

The PC needs a firewire card or USB Driver, which should be on the software CD, though you probably installed this to get it to work as a webcam

Firewire is the easiest, though avoid paying 25GBP / 40 USD for the lead
