Blank Desktop! New p.c. broken! Help please!

I just bought a new p.c. I installed the monitor and keyboard and mouse, I went to restart it for the mouse to work. It loaded up, just like usual. The XP logo with the blue bars loading. Then it sudenly went black! :) I have tried safe mode but the same happens! It goes to the black desktop. :tazz:

Any help will be apreciated,
