Hello, ok my sound is not working... my speakers are plugged in right and all that but when i go to Start>Accessories>Entertainment>Volume Control a window comes up saying
There are no active mixer devices available. To install mixer devices, go to Control Panel,Click Printers and other hardware, then click Add hardware
This program will now close.

Anyone have some advice on what to do or know how to fix this error???? please and thank you a ton!!

http://www.emachines.com

That is the emachine homepage....it is currently down or being hammered heavily by new emachine owners. IN a couple hours, try going to the download section and downloading the sound drivers for your machine by plugging in the model number you game me

At the moment, I cannot find any info on your computer.
