My computer monitor is black. I no longer have my wallpaper and cannot change the wallpaper on my computer. The monitor reads "Warning! Spyware has detected a virus on your computer. There is link that reads "To view a list of spyware removers click here". There is a box in the middle of the screen which states Norton has detected a virus on your computer

Object name: C:Windows\system32\wininet.dll
Virus name: Bloodhound W32.EP
Action taken: Acess to the file denied.

I have downloaded several software programs such as Spybot, WinAntivirus Pro 2006, Adware, Spyware, and a few other programs claiming to eliminate viruses, spyware, adware, etc. None have cured my problem. I still can use the computer, but am not sure if I should be. Can someone please help me before I go broke buying online. By the way, I am no computer whiz. Therefore, please explain it to me in simple terminology. Thanking you in advance for your help.
