I have recently activated Outlook Express 6 for use with my Bellsouth Email account. I noticed that new email was not uploading to Outlook. I went into Tools, Accounts, Mail, Properties, Servers and the Incoming Mail server keeps changing from "mail.bellsouth.net" to "127.0.0.1". When I change it to mail.bellsouth.net, I am able to upload my new mail, but it somehow changes back to 127.0.0.1. I have corrected the setting several dozen times, but it always changes back usually after a restart.

Question 1 - What do you think?
Question 2 - If I reinstall Outlook, will I lose the email in my folders.

I've got exactly the same problem and am with Bellsouth also. Did you ever figure out the problem with this.
