When I log onto the computer I get on with no problem, the problem is when I am in a website and click onto a link to go to another webpage it states cannot find server. I wanted to check out a website off of this site and I got the same error message, I can't get into my yahoo email or yahoo photos due to the same error and also IE is running very very slow. I posted on the highjackthis log site and I tried firefox and hated it so I went back to IE. Is anyone else having this same problem??
Hi Lecia. You said you posted a hijack this log in the malware forum. Did you work your way through the malware removal guide at http://www.geekstogo...?showtopic=2852 ? This may be a good first step. Malware especially likes IE because it is widely used and easily expoited (thanks M$). If you haven't already done so, I suggest you work through they guide, and then post a new hijack this log in malware.
I did that before I posted and nobody has posted back to me..
Patience.. It can take up to threee days before someone gets to it.. If it goes longer than three days, there is a thread in the Off Topic forum you can post in to remind them.. BUT, wait the full three days !!!
