New 512 MB Cruzer Micro problems, please help!

Hi,

I just got a new cruzer micro. When I plug it in I get the message that the new hardware is installed and working properly. However, it's not working at all.

It is listed under my computer, but I can't add any files to it. In properties, it says the file system is unknown and has 0 bytes of free/used space.

Even weirder - I plugged it into my girl's computer, which is the SAME computer I have, and it worked fine!

So, what could be wrong with my computer to make it not read the stupid little cruzer?
