I have a puter that will not allow me to load any OS,, I think because it was formatted and it erased the drive software utility. If I take it out of that puter and put on this puter which has XP, can I load a OS to that drive and than can I take that drive out and put back in my other puter? Will this work?

Not with XP because it notes some of the hardware configuration when it installs and would notice it wasn't in the same machine
