Alright I got alot of DVDs for christmas, I want to put them all on myc ollection on my computer, I have a DVD player/burner ROM, When I put the DVD in, My cursor changes with a disc, but than goes back to normal and when I go into the folder to get the files, There is nothing there. I checked the wireing and tried updating the driver, any other suggestions?

do you have dvd playing software, like powerdvd?

No but wouldnt the files still show up? IS there any free software I could download like powerdvd and a site for it

You should have got something with your DVD drive. Hmm, will movie files show? I'm not sure.

You definitely need the dvd encoder decoder to read them though.

I am not aware of any free ones, but someone else may know

try download.com i got a dvd player free software, off of that site last night and it works good luck with it
