Okay, well my mouse doesn't work. It doesn't move or anything! I've cleaned it from the inside and still nothing . But what I've noticed is that from the back of the hard drive where its connected to it's really loose. What can I do? Because I've bought a new mouse and that doesn't work either.

Hi. Is this a PS2 mouse (has a round connector that connects to the PS2 port on the back of your computer, not the hard drive) or is it a USB (has a rectangular connector)?

ok, ps2. You said the plug is loose. That is the ps2 port. You tried another mouse and it didn't work. Two possible ways to go. 1. open the case and look at the ps2 port connector, maybe there is a loose wire that you can fix, and maybe you can tighten the connector. 2. Try a usb mouse. I have seen adaptor plugs that will enable you to use the ps2 mouse on a usb plug. You should be able to get one of those, or just buy a usb mouse.
