Please help.

I've run through all the steps you say to do first. I still have stuff I can't eleminate, and I'm sure I don't even recognize everything that keeps coming back anyway. Please take a look at my Hijack This file and tell me how things look and what I should do.

BTW - I do not use MSIE. I use Mozilla, but the pop up junk pops up in IE 6. Don't know if that's important. Thanks!

I did everything just like you said and some things are better.

But I still have some trouble. The tygyhx.exe stuff and istsvc.exe stuff came back. Plus the scvhost process seems to be running (more than once!) What's that thing, anyway?

So far the machine is more responsive, but it's not completely back to where it ought to be.

I could not run the virus scan. I'm running mozilla and was told I needed a plug in. I downloaded the plugin from the prompt, but the plug in would not install. Something about an invalid 16-bit application.

The trojan scan uncovered a bunch of stuff (the same istbar crud that was there before) and I let it clean that.

This is my last bump. It's been another 5 days or so and nearly two weeks since I posted my last HJT log.

You guys were so fast to help me out the very first time, and now nothing. I'm not trying to complain. I know I'm the one coming here asking for freebie services from a bunch of people who have their own lives and who don't owe me a darn thing in this world.
