Ok I Have:

Compaq Presario
Windows XP
40 GB HD
192 RAM But when i install it it goes up to 256 MB
UniChrome IGP



My Problem Is i bought a new graphic card a ATI Radeon 9550
everytime i try to play a game it starts up but then freezes even on simple tasks like a search engine i have the drivers installed
but on a game it COMPLTLEY Freezes but on a search engine or randomly sometimes my monitors light goes orange????

So Any Help ? Thanks ahead of time

yea u probably need to update ur drivers the video card should be pretty good for most games.

what games are you trying to play also? might be to powerful for ur system not ur video card, and i used to have 2 compaq computers and i had a lot of problems with them both. maybe that could be the problem.
