got this linksys modem/router and i cant get the thing to go out onto the web, i have made new connection but nothing seems to work, has anybody got one and would like to tell me how there set up is it would help thanks foxlighter

do some simple tests. can you ping a public IP? if yes, can you ping the yahoo.com? This link may help,

got my linksys to work on the web but the only thing i can get is this whie screen and i cant seem to get anything els, i know that the modem is working ok because theres one big blue screen down at the right sida od the monator and its doing the same thing as my old voyager but i only get this white screen which says somthing about dial up or somthing, so what i have been trying is trying to click onto a desktop sybol
but nothing works, but theres this settings list with all these boxses down one side
