hard drive not found on reformating

hi ive got a computer which is only a year old and is for gaming on but its completely ruined and stuff not virus's but i think from where my family have used it its completely ruined. anyway i need to reformat it because its need to be compeltely wiped clean ive done everything possible other than reformat it but its the only thing left.

But when i try to reformat the set up cannot find the hard drives to reformat the computer so what should i do then to try and get the computer to find the hard drives? confused1.gif

it says something like hard drives cannot be found set up cannot continue.

has any1 else had this problem aswell while they reformat or has this computer been ruined so much that it jsut wont do anything anymore??
