I accidentally deleted the file C:/WINDOWS/System32/tmpf00.exe. It is not in my recycle bin. How do I get it back?

tmp are usually temporary and the file isn't on my system

Click start then run, type sfc /scannow then press enter to replace the system files, you need the XP CD

System File Check will show a blue progress bar, reboot when the bar goes

If it is essential it will be replaced

I don't know anything about that file, but I did a google search and it returned a number of entries, but most were just references where it showed up in a hijackthis log. I did not spend a large amount of time looking but did run accross the below site that says it is an unsafe process.
http://www.fileresea...0.EXE-3505.html

I am not familiar with the above site, so do not know how reliable it is, maybe someone else knows.
