My computer just started to make background sounds in the past two days. I ran a virus check and nothing changed. any suggestions?

Welcome to geeks to go, What do you mean backround sounds??? try clicking start>seting>control pannel>sounds and devices and make sure everything looks good in there.i am going to go get a mod. tomove this to the windows forum so that a specilst can help you there.
