Ok, I got hit with spyware. It started with my desktop being hijacked and wallpaper becoming red and flashing "infected with spyware" something along those lines.Adaware is getting nothing, same with Spyboy S&D, and PestPatrol. I'm not seeing anything out of the ordinary but after deleting any cleaning up all that I could I got the desktop to remove the red and now its just grey or white, it flashes between them randomly. I also can't get into my Desktop/Wallpaper settings in Display. There just is no tab for it. If I right click my desktop, it comes up like a webpage. I can view the source, etc. Also, it appears to be sending me to google.com as my wallpaper. I've tried everythingHopefully you'll see something. I need help asap.

ok, I'm not trying to bump this. just a quick update. I found other information online about this telling me to autohide the taskbar so it will show the bottom of my desktop(mine not hijacked). Right click, properties, desktop tab, customize desktop, then "web" tab and remove all the sites. I don't have a web tab for some reason on XP Pro. Any idea why or other ways around this? Thanks
