To anyone that can help,

I cannot access the windows firewall settings.

When I go Start- Control Panel- Windows Firewall, I receive the following message, "Due to an unidentified problem, Windows cannot change the Windows firewall settings."

WinXP(sp2) I am the administrator.

windowsxp.mvps.org/sharedaccess.htm
I followed the instructions and successfully added the appropriate file to the registry. Did not fix the problem.

www.docs.com/HelpFiles/WindowsXPServicePack2Fix.htm
Followed the instructions and succesfully addded the following files.

First:
regsvr32 c:\windows\system32\atl.dll

Second:
regsvr32 c:\windows\system32\hnetcfg.dll

Still no fix.

Can anybody help, please?
