Help. I tried replacing an icon for folders, and it deleted the command for "open" in the context menu. To top that off, both Folder and File Folder are missing from the file types tab in Folder Options.

Is there any way to get this back without system restore or the Windows system disk?

If I do System Restore, will my hard drive be erased?
(Sorry, I've never experimented with it and I don't know its capabilities)

I can still access folders, except the default command for when they are clicked on is to load up a program I had to change the extension of a file.

Are there any utilities to recover the "Open" command?
