Hey Everyone, I'm new here. Thoughts I'd get some suggestions towards the build. So, I very into gaming and need something that'll handle well , but not something that'll completely empty my pocketbook.

I'll just list my main hardware components. If anyone out their could add their input, such as their own reviews/experiences/opinions. I'm also interested in knowing how well all these components will work together.

1)Graphics card- Geforce 7800 GT: a bit pricey, but seems to be a top notch card

2)Motherboard- ASUS A8N-SLI Deluxe: still looking at other boards, but this looks like a pretty decent SLI board

3)CPU- AMD Athlon 64 3700+: still reading reviews for this and searching for other possibilities

Thanks to anyone for posting.

As for the video card- i would think get the GTX if your really going to spend that kinda money- also if you dont plan on using the SLI board- then you really dont have to get it- but it is a nice board

For the processer- if you can- get dual core- the 4400 is very nice, and you will see a nice preformance increase-

If you build this beast- you cant starve it- Strongly recommending 2 gig ram (pc3200) 2X 1 gig DIMM sticks

Will be a great build!
