Backbutton or backspace problem

Running WinXPSP2 with SBCYahoo DSL connection.

About every 4 or 5 attempt to go back to a prior page when browsing the web (even at this site), I get bumped back two pages instead of one.

Have run Norton AV 2005 (updated reguarly), Spybot-S&D, Adaware, HiJackThis, CWShredder, AboutBuster, etc. Problem continues.

Any suggestions?

Sticky key? Have you tried a second keyboard?

Different keyboard? No, don't use keyboard - happens when mouse is positioned over back button in upper left hand corner of screen.

might be your mouse giving you problems? Control Panel > Mouse options: check if your clicking's okay.
