My husband's computer is a Japanese model, and runs Windows XP in Japanese. We are wondering if he can run AVG and Spybot on these. He did load down AVG, and ran a test. It told him he is all clear, but now he is wondering if it is reliable.
Anyone have an idea?

I'd think they should work just fine. Virus and spyware writers don't write a copy for each language. These pests install to default locations, using default names--no matter which language pack is installed.
