When I try to launch this game I play from my Computer, "Warcraft III: The Frozen Throne", the game takes about 2 minutes to load up to the game menu, and it is acting choppy and slow when I am in the game menu and everything else. Sometimes the choppiness and slowness goes away. This happens while I am either connected to the B.Net or not on the game.

here are my computer specifications:

I have the exact same problem minus the 2 minute load time on the game. I put up a hjt log in malware to have them check it out and see that before I put up my specs for hardware.

Should I do a Hi-Jack scan and delete all choices? I think that is what I am going to do.

thats your best bet to trying to fix the problem i know i play the game here and there and my computer isnt to great like urs im in the proccess of building one but even on my system now it runs really smooth. You might have a lot of processes running press ctrl alt delete and tell me how many proccesses are running might be the problem or you can just see the cpu usage tab and check it out. when i play games i usually shut down everything i dont need itunes word and other stuff like that the only onje i keep on is winamp, maybe u need to end processes.

Never delete all choices on HijackThis, it can lead to so many problems. By deleting every choice you will be deleteng necessary files that are needed to run legit programs and if you cannot read a HJT log i recommend doing the following. Run a scan, save the log and post it in the Malware forum located here with details about your problem.

For me, it's not the memory usage, I close everything(even small things such as aim and msn messenger) and I still get random spikes.

i hav made made many hi-jack scans on my computer and it did not really do anything.. maybe just from slowing my internet connection and other minor things, but anyways.. im not gonna delete all entries ever again.. i'll post my hi-jack log in the appropriate forum on geekstogo. thank you.

also, the game is not acting with choppiness and slowness or lagginess anymore. the problem got resolved somehow. i think it was because i un-installed my firewall and installed the latest version of DirectX and insert a chipset into my motherboard and changed the warcraft iii settings. so, my problem here is solved.
