Hello,

My computer was hit with a bucnch of spyware last week. Several cleans later, and all the tests come up "negative." What I need to ask about is the spinning cursor.

The PC operates normally. However, when all programs are off except XP OS, the cursor cycles rapidly between the arrow and the spinning hourglass. The hard drive was recently defragged, so I don't think that is it.

Why does it keep doing this? Is it another spyware? Thanks.

Tune Up 2006 Trial

Click start then all programmes, accessories, system tools to run disc clean up, click more options then click clean up restore points.

Click start then run, type prefetch then press enter, click edit then select all, right click any file then click delete, confirm delete.

Run Tune Up disc clean up then registry clean up then click optimize to run reg defrag, which needs a reboot

Those will have cleared the drive of obsolete software errors
