I have the same problem as here:

Though my computer does not seem to have the option of going into safe mode. I have followed all of your instructions and nothing works. Here is my log:

Did you download and run SmitRem? You say your computer does not have the option to boot to safe mode. What have you tried to get to safe mode. SmitRem must be run in safe mode.
