Zonealarm updated this week or last sometime, and it corrupted when i dl'd it. So I completely uninstalled thinking to download the new version after uninstall, and promptly became unable to access the internet via browsers. I can still play game via internet, and ping both by name and by IP, but neither firefox or IE will connect. IE beganthis problem, so I dl'd firefox on a different computer and moved it to mine. I clean installed it, and imported ecerything from IE. Couldn't connnect. I uninstalled and reinstalled and still couldn't connect. I was recently using a proxy, but after i quit using it everything still ran fine. I even have xfire up and running while IE and Firefox aren't.

Thanks for the help.

Actually I have almost the same scenario, but I only can't connect to some website. For e.g I can't connect to www.steampowered.com. I play cs, and it's been days that it's fail to update (with reason: can't connect to steam server). There are some other sites that I can't go either, so there's somthing must have gone wrong either my router-modem or ISP.

Any input guys?

Thanks in advance.
