When I try to change any settings for my Firewall in windows Xp it wont let me. An error message comes up that says "Due to an unidentified problem, Windows can not display Windows Firewall settings". This did not always happen, it started a few months ago.

Click start then run, type sfc /scannow then press enter to replace the system files, you need the XP CD.

System File Check will show an on screen blue progress bar, reboot when the bar goes
