Under Windows I see about 50 files that start with KB*** ie KB904706. They seem to be some sort of registry log file. Do I need to keep these on my PC? I saw the forum post on Xp tutorials to maximize system and I thought I would try to clean up any files on my HDD as well.

Thanks

Hi jhbaum...

You will want to keep those...they are patches from Microsoft. It's not a good idea to delete anything from the Windows folder unless you know exactly what you are removing.
