Play RA files without Real player?

Occasionally I run across an RA audio file that I want to hear, but I do not want to install Real player. It's an octopus. I tried something called Real Alternative but it wouldn't work. I use WMP.
Any solution?

Real alternative should work.

Make sure you play the file with Medial Player Classic that comes with Real Alternative.

I would just stick to real player its only a bother if you let it run away with itself as long as you only use it for real files its ok, but the plain free version is a bit more invasive than the pro.
