Think Pad / Canon BJC 80 Problem

Hi,

I have just bought a Think Pad and it wont print on a Canon Bjc 80 with the parallel port but will (very slowly) through the infrared. I have dowloaded 4 different drivers and checked the BIOS - No luck!! In fact the BIOS was saying that the infrared was disabled but it was still working. Its running windows 2000 pro.

Give me 98 any day.

Does anyone know this problem? Appreciate any help.
