Welcome to Geeks to Go! :tazz:

You may wish to print out a copy of these instructions to follow while you complete this procedure.

HijackThis is current; running from a temporary folder Please save Hijack This in a permanent folder (i.e. C:HJT). This ensures backups are saved and accessible.

Please go offline, close all browsers and any open Windows, making sure that only HijackThis is open. Scan and when it finishes, put an X in the boxes, only next to these following items, then click fix checked.

R3 - Default URLSearchHook is missing
O2 - BHO: (no name) - {AF550F29-E32E-3172-0F1E-0B3FE9407D86} - C:\WINNT\system32\ntda32.dll
O4 - HKLM\..\Run: [iprw32.exe] C:\WINNT\iprw32.exe
O23 - Service: Workstation NetLogon Service - Unknown - C:\WINNT\system32\mscr32.exe

Please reboot into safe mode (continually tap the F8 key while your system is starting, select Safe Mode from the menu).

Be sure you're able to view hidden files, and remove the following files/folders (if found):

C:\WINNT\system32\mscr32.exe
C:\WINNT\iprw32.exe
C:\WINNT\system32\ntda32.dll

Reboot your PC.

If you would please, rescan with HijackThis and post a fresh log in this same topic, and let us know how your system's working. ;)

Here is my "final" HiJack log.

You (and this site) are a prince!!!!!!
PC is ok, prolly some bad stuff still around but not being accessed.

I spent 15-20 hours hours over 5 days on this, and your directions took me about 15 mins... only because I had a little trouble with SAFE mode on my PC but fixed that.

One other interesting side note, this Hijacker was also deleting my Hosts file every time I booted, now that has been fixed as well.

So..... Thanks !!!!

So you think I would ever buy ANYTHING from those morons at OneMoreSearch.com ? Never, never, never!
