Need help with USB in Mandriva 2006 Linux

I have three systems.
1.7ghz 512m ram
Mandriva 2005LE on a laptop.

2ghz 1g ram
Mandriva 2005LE on a PC.

2.3ghz 512m ram
Mandriva 2006 on a PC (testing)

I recently bought three Microsoft Comfort Curve 2000 keyboards.
All three work with Mandriva 2005LE.
None work with Mandriva 2006.

The problem, I think, is the USB sys in the 2006 box.

Where do I start solving this problem?
