Can you tell me what realy counts when looking for video cards? what specs other than memory are good to look at?

O by the way... took me literaly 20 seconds to get the heatsink off... and the cpu came up realy easily... I put them in the original packaging and i am going to ship my motherboard off tomorow

O and compared to my current Radeon 9600XT all in wonder... is it a faster card, the 6600GT?

I have been telling you taking the HSF was easy for this whole thread.

The 6600GT is a faster card as its much newer, however i wouldnt buy a 6600GT they arent very good especially for what they are sold for.

You want a card with 256MB of memory with a 256bit memory interface(6600GT has 128 bit memory interface so even with 256mb of memory it still behaves like a 128mb card). You want DX9 preferably with a good cooler on it and a reliable company to buy it from.

Ok... another question... I have been looking at motherboards and found that they have 24 pin connectors on the motherboard for PSU....I have an 80 dollar ultra PSU... that is 20 pin.... Can I use one of those converters to run the board and be alright??? Will it run fine or will I have problems??
