Yesterday my brother was looking for "something" on the Internet and Norton popped up twice and said it had detected a virus. He told me about it and so I updated my virus protection and ran a full system scan but found nothing. It doesn't show up in the quarantined items but does show in the Activity Logs section. It says: "Source: C:\Documents and Settings\kristenk\Local Settings\Temporary Internet Files\Content.IE5\7Q3GTU4E\psg[1].anr

My computer is now acting strangely and when I downloaded the applications this site suggested to first clear out malware it won't let me update Spybot or TrojanHunter. My computer just freezes up and I have to hold the power button to get it to shut down. I can't use the Start, Turn off Computer, Turn off computer because I wait for 10 minutes and nothing happens. I have found no other malware with AdAware or CleanUp. I did an online virus scan with Panda Activescan and it found nothing. I have a feeling that this virus is still lingering but I'm out of ideas to find it. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
