hello I am in China
I am not sure if my winXP is an official version or not. (Not my computer) if I do the security updates will that hurt my computer?
I have heard that if you do not have the official version and then get the updates it will not allow you to reboot. (my may or may not be an ilegitamte copy i don't know) In china you can't tell if you are getting the real version or a copy version.
please tell me if that is true and how do i check to see if it is an official version or not.
Sorry to bother you
