Windows XP SP2 not letting my prorgrams connect to the internet!

Ok so I just got Windows XP with SP2, and now all my programs and games wont connect to the internet! I turned the firewall off and tried everything. No help. I cant figure out what is causing this.

How do you connect to the internet? Dial up? Cable? Dsl? Do you see anything in "Network Connections"? Did this problem just start? More detail would help us to help you.

I have DSL, my connection is fine, when I goto connect to teamspeak it cant connect to the server, same with COD2 and Bf2.
