after a bit of looking, i found the board at msi's site. It says the latest version of the bios is 1.5, but it is dated for 2000-11-23, at post it says it is 1.2b4 but gives no date. none of the bios fixes seem to have any relevent fixes for me. I would rather not risk it incase something goes wrong. what do u suggest?

im thinking of buying a abit p4m8 mobo and a celeron D 2.35 for about 145 dollars. the only problem i can see is that the heatsink will be to big and hit the cover. it has apx. 3 inches of space for the heatsink, i think one of the zalman heatsinks might work, but with only millimeters away from the case top. This is one of those small matx cases.

I was hoping to keep the case and everything, i don't have alot of money to spend on this computer (spent it on my computer) i was hoping to keep this running for my basic compter. Mainly for internet browsing, word processing and letting the kids use. I live in canada and do most of my buying in canada. (ncix)
