Does your T30 have USB ports? If so, do you have a USB flash drive?

You may have a good excuse to pick up a flash drive here... :tazz: or a USB Floppy drive.

At the A:\ prompt, type C: and press "Enter".

At the C:\ prompt, type command.com and press "Enter"

Does this bring up a prompt and if so, what is it?

I've lost track... :tazz: ...what is the boot priority set to now. Is it ATAPI CD-ROM...HDD...Floppy?

Go to the C:\ prompt and type A:\setup.exe and press "Enter".

Let me know if you get the read error again...

When you boot from the PC Beginner Utilities 2005 cd, are you given any options or does it go directly to the command prompt?

From the A:\ prompt, with the win98 cd in the drive, type win98\setup.exe and press "Enter".
