i am having trouble connecting on my pc at home. I have had the line tested and its ok. my modem is fine, so i think its a problem with my computer. i have run all virus and spyware programs i hAVE none of them have solved the problem.
What happens is when i try to connect to bt i click the dial up and nothing happens just a flicker of the bar at the bottom. there are no error messages at all. Help.

Hi Camelman,

Have you tried restarting your computer in 'Safe Mode with Networking' and then attempting to connect your diaul-up connection?

Also, as Mile Runner asked, is your modem making any response? Are there any lights on it, indicating activity etc..?

When did the problem start occurring? Did you make any changes to your computer?

i always look at it as only the cool kids can handle the power of dial up.

Very true; that's why I was never one of the cool kids :tazz:
