I am using an 8x DVD writer/re-writer to burn dvds. I put in a dvd to copy and it took 50 minutes to read it (1,500kbps), and is writing at 11,080kbps apparently with Nero Express 7.
My question is, is there any way I can speed up the process to read the dvd before copying it? Otherwise it is going to take over 1 hour to copy a dvd which is not desirable.

Many thanks :tazz:

See if loading the DVD and then copying the file to a folder on the hard drive is quicker than the 50 minutes read, then burn it from the folder to the new disc
