Hi,

I am having trouble with my video card (Radeon 300).

On start up my computer screen goes blank upon loading. I restart the computer in safe mode and it works. Then I delete the driver and restart the computer and it works.

When I go and change the resolution it goes back to a blank screen.

I have also updated the drivers from the ATI site.

Any suggestions?

John

You can do some clean up of the previous driver installations and then re-install the current driver. First, make sure you have the current driver downloaded and available to install. Then go to http://www.drivercleaner.net/ and get Driver Cleaner (it is free). Then go to add/remove programs and remove the current video driver. Then reboot into safe mode and run Driver Cleaner TWICE, each time deleting all that it finds. Then reboot and install the current video driver.
