Hi, sorry don't know if this is the right place to put this but i switched my pc on today and a box came up headed... ALCXMNTR.EXE - Entry Point Not Found... then it says.... the procedure entry point SetupDiEnumDeviceInterfaces could not be located in the dynamic link library SETUPAPI.dll. ...... could anyone pls help me as i am quite new to computers and dont know what this is.... im running windows xp... and the only difference to my pc that i can tell of , is some icons have gone from my taskbar..... would be very grateful for your :tazz: .... thanks

have you updated your sound card drivers recently?

No i have'nt,... the only thing i have installed recently is nero 7 ... and i dont have any of the drivers for my sound card either... the only discs i have are the recovery discs.. :tazz:

Hi, thanks for trying to help dsenette.. i sorted it now... i used the system restore and it's ok now... just lost nero 7 though but i still got the disc... thank you :tazz:
